The NEC.4 standard contract (2017), originally from the UK, is now being used more widely as a template in Australia and New Zealand (plus Hong Kong & South Africa).
Compared to NEC.3 (2013) it weighs RISK more evenly between buyer & seller and brings a range of modernisations useful in today’s business environments – especially capital purchases.
Moreover, NEC.4 can offer a useful template contract and ‘clause-library’ for time-poor buyers – if used with care!
Join this guided-tour of NEC.4 with top lawyer Scott Alden, and understand how best to use it, and not use it, in professional procurement work.
