As we seek to drive innovation through and from our supply base, the need, and indeed desire, to deal with smaller, newer and more agile suppliers is increasing. However, large organisations like yours are not always easy to deal with for small suppliers. In many cases you may find they simply don’t want to deal with you. What seems normal in the way of process and contracts to somebody in procurement, can be an alien world for small business people, making them reticent to work with you.
In this session participants will explore what challenges they see in dealing with small suppliers and what strategies and tactics members are using to make themselves more ‘small business friendly’.
When registering, please nominate specific issues that you would like to explore during the session and prior to the session think about examples that you can bring to the table to explore with the group.
