Social Procurement (virtual)

Due to having a number of members in different geographies
interested in social procurement and given the relatively generic nature of the
issues so far raised for discussion, we have decided to make the round-table
virtual using appear.in

This will also enable us to bring in an external expert, details of who will be provided shortly.

Overview

Social procurement is high on the agenda of most organisations at present. While headway is being made by many, others are still struggling with the practicalities of how to engage social enterprises. In this session you will have the opportunity to explore such things as how you develop RFPs or go to market with social enterprises, what special criteria, if any, you need to include and what your evaluation criteria might look like.

Please submit issues or questions you would like to discuss regarding social procurement so that we can include it in the agenda for discussion on the day.

The following issues have been submitted so far:

  • Understanding the value that Social Procurement provides to an organisation
  • How to integrate Social Procurement into our Category Strategies
  • Benefits of social procurement for brand owners
  • Social procurement is in our tender documents - however it is there with little impact to the outcome? My question is 'are there any differences in private sector weightings to public sector?'
  • Developing strategies/plans for achieving social procurement outcomes.
  • Practical ways that different organisations incorporate social procurement into their practices

Expert Facilitator: Matt Perfect, Founder, Impact Spender

Please note that the time of this Round Table is 9.30am AEDT (8.30am Brisbane,
9.00am Adelaide, 11.30am Auckland)
